Anne could really do with finding some early risers to help with the parking at the Antique, Flea Market Country Craft and Car Boot Event in the Livestock Market in Welshpool on Saturday 22nd October to help raise more funds for the ongoing campaign.
The gates will be open from 6.30a.m. but she would appreciate any helpers to meet up at 6.15 a.m. for a briefing as to what we hope to achieve throughout the day.
Parking attendants seem to be where we need most help in:
a. Opening and directing the stall holders into the building as quickly as possible and getting their vehicles parked and
b. Following on with the public who will be admitted to park at any time but not allowed in the building until 8.30a.m. they will however have access to the cafeteria and toilets through the main electric doors on the front of the building. Although by about Mid day they can fend for themselves.
Hi Viz jackets will be issued but may we suggest that warm clothing may be the order of the day as the wind comes from Aberystwyth and doesn’t stop until Peterborough!
Anyone able to help please call Anne Watson-Smyth on 01938 500 245 or 07852 122 546.
In addition MAP will also be setting up stall in the market and would like any willing hands to help staff the stall as well as any donations of books or other items that we can add to our existing stall setup
Many thanks and hope to see as many of you there as possible all showing off your protest gear
